Daniel Burrows

Daniel Burrows is Head of APAC for Eku Energy. He has over 17 years’ of experience in investment banking, principal investing, project finance and development, and spent the last decade as a leader in Macquarie Asset Management focused on the clean energy transition.

At Eku Energy, Daniel is responsible for the company’s growth and expansion across APAC, helping develop, build and manage energy storage assets that facilitate the delivery of reliable, clean energy to advance the energy transition. In Australia, Daniel is responsible for the company’s 1GWh of storage assets in delivery including Hazelwood Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Rangebank BESS and the Williamsdale BESS.  He has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Notre Dame Australia.
