Charlie Behan

Charlie – Vice President at JP Morgan in the Infrastructure and Utilities Team. Charlie has worked as a financial adviser (M&A and debt), underwriter and lender across BESS Assets, renewables and traditional energy assets, infrastructure (transport, power, transmission, water companies), smart meters and energy from waste.

Charlie has just relocated to JP Morgan Sydney from London. In London he was heavily involved in advising and financing some of the largest BESS assets globally, as well as closing one of the first 100% merchant BESS financings in the UK.

Charlie started his career at Abrdn in the Infrastructure Debt team before joining Santander’s Energy Structured Finance team in London in 2020. Charlie holds a degree in International Relations from the University of St Andrews and is a CFA Charterholder.
