Chloe Hicks

Chloe Hicks is Executive Director, Strategy and Policy at the Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) in the NSW Government. Chloe is responsible for driving EnergyCo’s corporate strategy, policy development and advice, and regulatory processes.

Chloe has extensive experience and expertise in energy and government processes, including overseeing the Expenditure Review Committee of Cabinet and NSW Budget. She has been instrumental in driving energy and climate change policies in NSW, most notably the Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap and its enabling legislation. She is passionate about ensuring energy infrastructure is developed in a way that benefits consumers and regional communities, having led the early design of Renewable Energy Zones in NSW.

In late 2023, Chloe travelled internationally to learn about world-leading energy transition policies and programs as part of a Churchill Fellowship.
