Ella Hurley

Ella Hurley, Vice President, joined BlackRock in February 2018 in Sydney, Australia. As a member of the APAC Investment Team for the Climate Infrastructure Group, her role focuses on sourcing, execution and due diligence for project-based and private equity infrastructure transactions across the region. Ella has made material contributions to the establishment of BlackRock’s Climate Infrastructure business within APAC, with investments across Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, in a range of technologies including solar, offshore wind, battery energy storage and EV charging.

Ella leads BlackRock Climate Infrastructure’s Australian efforts, having worked on the acquisition of leading battery energy storage developer Akaysha Energy in 2022. She is the lead Portfolio Manager for Akaysha Energy and is responsible for the ongoing management of the investment.
