Henry Liu

As the Technical Director of Sungrow Australia Group, Henry leads a locally based dynamic team of experienced engineers in grid connections and technical solutions, delivering GWs of grid connection projects and technical support in Australia.

Henry’s career journey has been marked by a profound immersion in the renewable energy and power systems domain, underpinned by his robust technical foundation from his experience and a Ph.D. at the University of New South Wales focused on power system operations and planning.

In his role at Sungrow, Henry’s primary responsibility is to ensure optimal solutions for large-scale PV and BESS projects and overseeing complex technical aspects, most importantly grid connections. His deep understanding of power electronics, coupled with his knowledge of Australian renewable energy projects and power system dynamics, ensures that Sungrow’s solutions meet the highest industry standards and provide maximum value to project stakeholders.
