Marilyne Crestias

Marilyne Crestias became the Policy Director of the Clean Energy Investor Group in 2020, bringing with her more than a decade of energy, environment and climate change experience and deep expertise in energy markets and policy.

In her previous role as Director of Renewable Energy Policy in the Victorian Energy Department, she led the design of the largest renewable energy auction in Australia and delivered legislation to support the Victorian Renewable Energy Target.

Prior to specialising in energy, Marilyne worked in the Victorian public sector, including in the Victorian Treasury where she has advised on large-scale infrastructure projects in the water sector and on the State Budget. Marilyne has a Masters in Economics and International Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Asian studies.
