Martino Alborghetti

Martino holds a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Since university, he is a strong advocate of energy storage as key to the energy transition.

He began his career at ENGIE Italy as a Business Developer for Demand Response and DERMS, collaborating with NHOA Energy to secure over 70MW of Fast Reserve Units in Italy’s first BESS pilot project.

In 2021, Martino joined NHOA Energy as a Project System Engineer, contributing to the success of the Kwinana Battery Energy Storage System (KBESS), Western Australia’s first large-scale battery. During project execution, he frequently travelled between Italy and Australia to ensure the successful delivery of this milestone project.

Since January 2024, Martino has been based in Perth as Head of Techsales for Australia & Pacific at NHOA Energy, supporting the growth of energy storage in the region.
