Patrick McCarthy

Pat McCarthy has over 15 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector and is the CFO of Genex Power.  Genex has 2 operational solar farms, an operational BESS, is in the final stages of constructing Australia’s first privately funded pumped storage hydro plant.

Pat previously worked at:

• ASX-listed Infigen Energy overseeing their Australian portfolio,
• Macquarie Asset Management on their two renewable energy funds, predominantly focused on offshore wind investments,
• Brighte Energy on their VPP project and
• Elgin Energy on their Australian development portfolio

Pat holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ireland and Tax Institute Ireland.
