Shane Slattery

Shane is the Head of Grid for Elgin Energy, an International Solar & Energy Storage Developer.  He leads all grid related activities in Australia, overseeing the connection of a 1.5 GW project pipeline. Before joining Elgin, he spent 5 years within the Network Planning Team in Transgrid , facilitating the connection of large-scale renewable energy projects to the transmission network in NSW. He also has a further 5 years’ experience working as a Power System Engineer for National Grid U.K and EirGrid in Ireland, respectively. Shane holds a BSc in Renewable and Electrical Energy Systems and a BSc (Hons) in Sustainable Electrical Power Systems, both from the Technological University of Shannon.
