Theodore Dow
Theodore Dow is the Managing Director of Paddington St Finance, a private credit fund manager focused on emerging corporates and growth capital.
He has over 30 years of professional experience in private capital funds management and was previously the Chief Investment Officer of the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), a $20 billion “green” sovereign wealth fund with a mandate to invest on a commercial basis in renewable energy and decarbonisation projects. Prior to the CEFC, Theodore served as the Chief Investment Officer of DIF Capital Partners and Babcock & Brown and held executive positions with AMP Henderson and Westpac Institutional Bank. Over the course of his career, Theodore has completed over 150 private capital transactions globally with an aggregate enterprise value of in excess of $45 billion.
Previous board, advisory and investment committee positions include Sentient Impact Group (Australian Impact Capital), Ablamen Capital (Asian Private Equity), JIDA Capital Partners (Asian renewable energy fund), Hypersonix (hydrogen-fuelled aviation technology) and the Federal Government’s National Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment. Theodore holds degrees from University of Queensland, Manchester Business School (UK), Kansai Gai Dai University (Japan) and Boston University (USA) and speaks Japanese and Spanish.
